​About Rousseau Counseling

Nanette grew up in the Houston area and moved to Dallas in 1995. She moved back to her hometown in 2023. Nanette graduated HS with highest honors from a gifted and talented program and then spent time with family in Europe. After moving to the DFW area she worked numerous years as a nanny while going to school to complete her BA and later her MA. Nanette is  no longer a nanny but is still in touch with some of the children (okay .... adults) she cared for over the years. Currently she is a licensed professional counselor and has been counseling children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings since 2009. Some of these settings include Collin County Children's Advocacy Center, Friends of the Family, Collin College, hospital settings, and private practice. Nanette strives to provide clients with a warm, inviting, nonjudgmental environment. Nanette cares for her disabled Veteran husband and their family of furry babies. In her spare time Nanette enjoys spending time with her family and friends and tunneling her creative spirit with a variety of craft or home improvement projects.

Appointments are available Wednesday and Thursday 8am-3pm. Tuesday 8-12pm.
